Counsellor - Coach - Psychotherapist

Helping others to recognise their own strengths and abilities is something I'm not only trained to do, but also have innate abilities in.

Naturally intuitive, forming relationships and understanding what makes people tick comes naturally and easily to me, so helping others is an obvious pathway choice.

Specialising in counselling and coaching, I have a real passion for working with individuals, including adults, young adults and teens; I'm also passionate about helping people to cope with any mental health issues (anxiety & depression) they may be experiencing.

My qualifications and experience also allow me to provide a vast range of counselling and coaching, including mental health counselling/coaching career counselling/coaching, crisis counselling, mindfulness coaching and facilitation, energy psychology & mind-body therapeutic approaches, parent coaching, and parenting course facilitation such as 123 Magic & Engaging Adolescents.

Above all, I am passionate and driven to see people reaching their full potential – whether it be at home, work, in relationships or personal growth.

My approach is professional, fun, exploratory, non-judgemental and patient. I lean towards utilising Psycho-dynamic, Psycho-therapeutic, Neuro-scientific (including mindfulness), and Energy Psychology (ie. Tapping, EFT, etc) techniques and approaches, but am also skilled at utilising various different counselling and psychotherapy modalities including CBT, Narrative Therapy, NLP, Solution Focused, Positive Psychology, Coaching and Person-Centred Talk Therapy approaches as well - I like to utilise the wide base of my training and knowledge to suit the individual and their needs (taking into account their own learning/communication styles), and approach working with each individual intuitively.

By using these evidence based, and highly solution-focused practices (and encouraging holistic approaches to life), I bring a lot to the table and I'm constantly thinking outside of the box to help achieve positive results for my clients, and quite often see positive results after only a few visits, depending on whether the client wants to move through a difficult block or period in their life, or wish to really 'clean house' and work towards specific goals.

I always support my clients to approach emotional healing or goal setting in the way that they feel most comfortable, and recognise that not everyone wants to change - sometimes people just want (and need) a safe, non-judgemental and unbiased ear to share their troubled thoughts with, while others seek to find the link between their physical and emotional states (particularly for those experiencing TMS and other pain-body symptomology).
